Miami Wine Lovers, please join us Friday, August 21st at 6 PM for an evening featuring four distinctive wines from Spain.

We’ll begin with Vicente Gandía Bobal Rosa, a pale rosé from Utiel-Requena made from 100% Bobal, one of eastern Spain’s important native red grapes. Fresh and aromatic, it shows delicate floral notes, red fruit and grapefruit with a smooth, refreshing finish.

Next is Bodegas Frutos Villar Riberal Joven from Ribera del Duero, made from 100% Tempranillo (Tinto Fino). This is the youthful, fruit-forward side of Ribera, with ripe cherry and raspberry, gentle tannins and a fresh, easy-drinking style.

We’ll continue with Pola López Oria from Rioja Alavesa, made from Tempranillo grown near Laguardia. It offers a classic Rioja profile of fresh red fruit, subtle spice and structure, while remaining lively and approachable rather than heavily oak-driven.

We’ll conclude with Piedras de San Pedro Loculto Crianza from Ribera del Duero, made from 100% Tempranillo and aged 12 months in French and American oak barrels. Rich and structured, it shows ripe dark fruit, spice and soft toasted notes, with silky tannins and a long finish.

The wines will be paired with delicious tapas, and all featured wines will be available for purchase for 15% off after the tasting.
